Sorry to go on about the weather but one day its frosty with lovely bright sunshine then the last two days its been wet & basically yuk ! The dogs really do not like the wet until they have got out in it & once wet they are happy to get on with their walks but when we come back thats when its not so good as it takes alot of towels to rub down are dogs.
My children do not seem to care or notice the rain but I notice the trails of water , mud, coats & wellies strewn around the utility or back house, so it does make quite a uphill struggle when it is so wet outside. Takes alot of energy to keep telling your children to put their wellies back & hang up your coat but I think it is paying of slowly all the nagging that I do. Dogs are far easier to train than children but would not be with out the the rascals & you get back what you put in & my oldest two boys now even if I say so myself are turning into very nice young men whos company & conversations I really enjoy they are 10 & 9 years old.
Took Charlie back to the vets today to check the wart like thing on his eye. I have been putting antibiotic ointment in his eye now for about 10 days & it has amazingly shrunk down that you can only just see it but on examination by the vet she can still see 2 small veins supplying it & what we think is that when he injured it a while ago as it healed some foreign cells have now grown causing this growth so I am keeping on with the eye ointment & it will be reassesed by the vet again in a fortnight & if it is not completely gone then Charlie will be seeing the eye specialist.
Lucy who is now around 35 days pregnant is starting to get quite big & is already showing discomfort after eating so will be splitting her meal now to twice a day .

“The greatest pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him, and not only will he not scold you, but he will make a fool of himself, too.”
― Samuel Butler
