Casper is the Cavalier boy I got last Autumn and have yet to put up on The Boys page. He came to me with eye and heart checks, and DNA tested clear for Episodic Falling and Dry Eye Curly Coat syndrome. I recently have had his eyes done again and at just over three years old he shows no signs of Multi-focal Retinal Dysplasia or Hereditary Cataracts. We have had his skull MRI scanned on the BVA - CM / SM scheme recently and are awaiting the results. He is being cardiologist vet checked again at the end of this month.
Casper is proving to be a really lovely tempered Cavalier and with tri and ruby genes from his parents. He has the potential to produce some really lovely marked pups. We hope to see first what he can produce with our lovely girl Treacle. Treacle is a F1 (first cross) Cavapoo we bred, being nearly five now, still MVD clear and her Cavalier mother, Dolly attained over 5 Mitral Valve Disease (MVD) clear status. Treacle is also hereditary clear for Episodic Falling and Dry Eye Curly Coat syndrome. She has been MRI scanned on the BVA - CM / SM scheme graded Syringomyelia (SM) 0. She is also hereditary clear for Progressive Retinal Atrophy (prcd-PRA). Her Dad is our Reggie. She has also recently been eye checked and at nearly five years old shows no signs of Multi-focal Retinal Dysplasia, Hereditary Cataracts or Generalized Progressive retinal atrophy.
Below is a slideshow of the four pups at adulthood that Treacle had with her first litter (and only litter so far) with our other pure Cavalier boy Toby being the father.
