Jim has become Rowan. As much as it would of been nice for him to keep the name "Jim" it was not going to stop him getting a wonderful home. I would of been an idiot after discussing about his name with Sheila and Vincent to have let this be the reason for not letting him go to them. I could not possibly sell Rowan. Good karma and all that. He was a thank you to Sheila and Vincent for the wonderful life they have given Charlie and kept to their promise of visiting us each year. Which made it just a little bit easier for me to let him go. First reports sounds like he has found his place.
Back for four days and this is the first chance I have had to get on the PC; I must be ill. Had a brief stop at Sheppy's cider, which allowed the boys a chance to do what they needed. The rest of the journey home went very well.
When we got home, we played with the name I mentioned but it did not suit him. We worked through a lot of other names but decided on Rowan. He is a bouncy little rascal, very playful & affectionate. We found a cage for him & loads of toys, all of which he seems to like. Charlie has had to growl him back into line a few times. They were in the kitchen earlier playing 'football' with Charlies treat dispenser toy. Charlie has even taught Rowan how to open the stairgate.
Bye for now,
thanks for the email. Sounds like Rowan is settling in well. Good to hear Charlie is teaching Rowan his place. Lovely photo of you all together at Sheppy's.
Love from us all
