Margaret sent me these lovely photo's of Bella at 11 weeks old. She is from Dolly's last litter & sounds from Margaret as if she is everything she hoped for & maybe more. She seems to be showimg Margaret her quickness to learn, that she is very brave for her age & the most important thing is that Bob gets on with her who is their 12 year old Cavalier. Thanks Margaret for keeping me up to date & her voice I do not know where she gets that from as not Mum or Dad are very verbal but we did notice that when she played she liked to speak.
I have been a little naughty today contacting a local breeder of Cavaliers that I go back with a little way The first Cavalier we every bred from came from this lady & was a beautiful blenheim girl called Jemima who on meeting my husband to be for the first time when she was 7 years old fell madly in love with him. My husband reciprocated this love & after her passing I suggested naming our first girl Jemima but David said "No, as there can only be one Jemima !"
Well, she had two very nice 8 week old Cavalier pups & my quest was a blenheim or tricoloured boy as potentially a stud dog, so to cut a story short I left with a beautiful tricoloured boy & his sister the beautiful blenheim girl.
They have settled in well tonight with lots of cuddles from my children. They are two robust pups very well marked. The boys breeding works well with my bitches & a bit of tricolour in your bleneim lines from time to time keeps good colour in the blenheim offspring.
The girl was just to good to be missed & she will hopefully make a quality Cavalier like her brother hopefully will.
They are called Jessica & Nathaniel. Nathaniel is a nice name but not such a good calling name, so with our children's help in choosing a name we have decided to name him Toby.
So look out Reggie theres a new boy in town !
