Ysobel

Ysobel
Ysobel is very pretty as well as being agile, she is a smaller type Cavalier. Ysobel is probably the best bred girl we have sporting 24 champions in her 5 generation pedigree. She could easily do small dog agility. She has a keen nose and is very happy out and about sniffing out the wildlife, she also is a fly catcher and does this with great accuracy and it is funny to watch her tracking them down or up. Ysobel loves to have a cuddle & always sits at my feet when I am on the computer.

Primrose

Primrose, January 2011
Primrose is our very pretty girl who's mum is Ysobel and dad is Charlie. Primrose was born 2010 and we hope to breed from her for the first time this year 2012. Primrose is Smudge's half sister sharing the same dad. Primrose is a very agile little Cavalier with show ring looks and a very gentle and loving temperment that she has inherited from her parents. She has good confirmation and is close friends with her half sister Smudge and like Smudge is proving to be very trainable.
Primrose had her first litter born on the 22nd September 2012 being four Cavapoos, two girls and two boys.

Dolly

Dolly with her litter of Cavapoos, August 2010
Dolly is a bit of a dollop. She is an 'easy go lucky' dog and is very relaxed. Not really worried about much and just loves anyone.
Dolly is very friendly and always attracts admirers when out for a walk . Also is very good at jumping up and scaling walls and gates.

Smudge

Smudge, March 2011
Smudge is our lovely daughter of Millie and the father is Charlie who was our Blenheim stud dog. Smudge has inherited her mum and dads gentle and very friendly nature. She was born 2010. Smudge is a very athletic Cavalier with very good conformation and is proving very trainable. She has one of the softest temperaments being very calm & sensible. She is best mates with Primrose who is a couple months younger than her and they share the same father so are half sisters.
Smudge surprised us in 2013 with having 9 pups for her first litter, unfortunately after giving birth to the first she did have a cesaraen but all went well and her 9 Cavapoo pups where all fit and well and she proved to be a real star in raising her rather large brood for a Cavalier with apparent ease and needed no help having loads of milk and brilliant calm mothering skills.

Millie

Millie
Millie who is probably the best tempered Cavalier I have ever had,she is so loving and a brilliant mum. She really loves human company and contact. A big part of this breed is that they are very much in touch with the way you feel and seem to know how to respond to you emotionally.
Millie is very elegant and athletic Cavalier who has a real spaniels nose and loves to go out for long country wall.
Millie is now retired from breeding at 5 years old.

Lucy

Lucy
Lucy is a strong robust type who loves a good play and enjoys lots of love and attention. We aquired her at 2 years old. In the time we have had her she has shown to have a lovely temperment.
Lucy at five and a half years old has been found to have the very early onset of MVD. The common heart condition in this breed.
We will not breed from her again and she has been homed with a lovely family.
It is unfortunate that she has the start of this condition but in Cavaliers at over five to only have the early onset of MVD is not doing to bad (I know that does not make it right). When she was found to have the onset of MVD the two other Cavaliers over five I also had checked that day both where clear of the first signs of MVD and as statistics estimate 50% of Cavaliers have MVD by the age of five, to have three dogs tested over five with a over 66% clear of MVD I remain positive that a Poundlane we are heading in the right direction in trying to breed dogs with late in life and no onset of MVD.
Lucy will have a good life with her new family and they are going to keep me informed of Lucy's progress, as I believe this will be a slow onset and hopefully Lucy will make it into double figures. The family fostering her have had three Cavaliers and all with this condition, so are aware of what they undertake for me.
